Athletics Carnival 2021

We are looking forward to our whole school Athletics Carnival which is being held next Tuesday 20th July at Hunter Sports Centre in Glendale. 

This is a compulsory school event with all students and teachers attending. Please ensure that all notes are returned and payments are made by this Friday 16th July. 

- Transport to and from the venue is by bus. 

- Please ensure students are at school by 9am as buses will be leaving once rolls have been marked. 

- The first events commence at 9.30am 

-The carnival will conclude at approximately 2pm, Students will return to school by bus at the conclusion of the carnival and remain at school until 3pm. 

-Parents may take their children home directly from the carnival at its conclusion if they wish. Please see Miss Molloy at the marshalling box to sign out. 

- Students 7 years and younger will participate in a range of modified activities including sack races, vortex games, egg and spoon races. They will also participate in a 50 metre running race. 

Students 8 years and over will participate in a range of competitive activities including running races (100m, 200m, 800m and 1500m), high jump, long jump, shot put and discus.
